Terms of use
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms apply to the Mavri software and to its source repository.
- Licence. Mavri is free software under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. That licence, not this page, defines what you may do with the code. If you run a modified Mavri for other people over a network, the AGPL requires you to offer them your modified source.
- Your installation, your data. Mavri runs on hardware you control. You decide who gets an account, where backups go and how long records are kept. See the privacy policy.
- Your responsibility for documents. Invoices, quotes and exported e-invoice files must satisfy the tax, accounting and legal rules that apply to you. Mavri helps you prepare them; it does not check them for compliance and is not accounting or legal advice. Review every document before you send it.
- No warranty. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as set out in sections 15 and 16 of the AGPL.
- Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, the maintainers and NodeDR Infotech Private Limited are not liable for lost data, lost income, or any other loss that comes from using the software. Keep backups.
- Updates. New versions are published on GitHub and as container images. Updating is your choice; the in-app button only acts when you press it.
- Third-party software. Mavri depends on open-source libraries, each under its own licence (see
package.jsonandserver/go.mod). - Contributions. Contributions are accepted under the same AGPL-3.0 licence (see CONTRIBUTING.md).
- Governing law. Disputes about the project are governed by the laws of India, with courts in the maintainer's jurisdiction, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
- Contact. MAINTAINERS.md.
